/24-7PressRelease/ -- The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan has named Robert W. Morgan as program associate.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Morgan taught high school social studies in New Jersey. He received an Educator of Distinction Award by the National Society of High School Scholars and was nominated for the Judy and Josh Weston Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Morgan is a 2011 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Fels Institute of Government, where he earned a Masters of Public Administration degree. He was among those chosen to participate in Fels Research and Consulting as an associate consultant, managing a Ford Foundation grant to improve instructional outcomes in the Philadelphia school district.
He received his bachelor's degree from Morehouse College.
