/Cambridge Who's Who/ - Paoli, PA, April 16, 2008, Connie Cooper, Adjunct Professor for Philadelphia University, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of teaching.
Ms. Cooper has 26 years of teaching experience and excels in teaching physics and mathematics and overseeing students' progress in achieving their goals. The most fulfilling aspect of her work is meeting the academic needs of her students by varying her classroom teaching methods. She stays current with the trends in her profession by reading journals like The Physics Teacher and Physics Today.
The Pennsylvania State University honored Ms. Cooper with the Engineering Mentor Educator Award in 2004. In 2007, she took part in a physics educational delegation to China sponsored by the People to People organization. She has also received the Who's Who Among America's Teachers Award, was a nominee for the Disney Teacher Award in 2006 and received the Energy Star Award in 1992.
Ms. Cooper holds a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri. She is a member of the American Association of Physics Teachers, the American Association of University Women, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the Mathematical Association of America. Ms. Cooper donates her time and services to the Christian Children's Fund. She hopes to begin full-time professorship in the near future. She may be reached via email at
