-- David A. Bedford, author of the recently released Angela 1: Starting Over, addresses common issues that teenagers face daily: divorce, separations of family and friends. In the second installment of a three part series - Angela 2: The Guardian of the Bay, main character, Angela Fournier, continues to address the prevalent issue of bullying that many teens face while attending school today. Supportive friends help her rise above the negativity that threatens to jeopardize her junior year. She uncovers an unnerving situation, a conspiracy that has the potential to bring down an entire town. Danger, retaliation, and a power struggle, are a few of the exciting scenes Bedford has prepared for his main character, Angela, and her friends.
Bedford grew up in Argentina and attended Texas Tech University and received a BA and MA. He also attended The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a PhD in foreign language education. He's an Instructor of Spanish at TCU (Texas Christian University) Fort Worth, Texas. Bedford also has a book of short stories in Spanish, Liliana y el espejo, which consists of thirteen fantastic stories in the River Plate literature tradition of the fantastic.
