Dredge's office will be located in Salt Lake City but he will be operating throughout the state.
For 20 years, Dredge was the majority shareholder and president of a trucking company and has been a consultant for several years.
Dredge was instrumental in growing the contract customer-base of the company, helping it secure several national and global food industry accounts.
"We were a profitable company and were able to grow our fleet from about 13 trucks to nearly 200 when it was sold, generating over $24 million in sales and employing about 240 people - including 25 owner-operators," he said.
As a consultant, Dredge was able to design and implement programs that increased the average dollar sale per unit by 31%.
"I was part of restructuring the accounting department of a company during a particularly difficult period. We were able to maintain the line of credit and relationship with the bank and still project a savings of nearly $300,000 in interest, fees, and accounting payroll costs for the next year. The procedures we implemented have subsequently been responsible for reducing the past 90-day receivables by over $200, 000," he said.
Dredge has the innate ability to understand his clients' problems.
"In hindsight, I completely understand how valuable this type of coaching could have been for my company - if I would have sold the company at all, it would have been different. I believe that if I would have had an ActionCOACH a year or two before the sale, it would have made a difference of millions," he said.
