For this year's list of Top Dentists, New Jersey Monthly magazine commissioned an independent survey of 6,435 New Jersey-based dentists who have been licensed in the state for at least five years. The dentists responded to a questionnaire asking them to name the dentists they would be most likely to recommend to family members. The final list represents 298 Top Dentists in nine specialties out of more than 2,500 New Jersey dentists who received at least one vote from their peers.
Dr. Stein graduated from Georgetown University Dental School. For the past 20 years he has committed his practice to full mouth reconstruction. The first of many innovations, Dr. Stein pioneered cosmetic implant dentistry and was the first to introduce immediate load implant prosthetics in Essex County. He was also among the first nationally to introduce DENTA CO2 laser for the soft tissue management program for non-surgical resolution in his office.
