In second place, 15% of people cannot live without a TV. Whether it's the news, movies, local television, or late-night entertainment, the TV is definitely one of the necessities for North American travelers.
Tied for third place are the hairdryer and Internet access. A hairdryer may be used to dry and style beautiful hair, but the Internet may be used for just about everything. Travel information, stock market news, tips for hair styling or step-by-step instructions for exterminating bed bugs; who knows? These may come in handy when traveling.
