Country Music Capital Rocking Out To EDM, Local Band Takes Notice

    NASHVILLE, TN, July 22, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- While being known as the capital of country music, another type of sound is quietly making its way onto the country capital scene. EDM music has been on the rise in Tennessee for some time, and while most EDM acts just visit, one local EDM band is looking to stay on the scene and watch it grow.

Nashville TN's very own Mindless Medicine are looking to make a name for themselves on the growing Nashville EDM scene. Following up on the minor success of their recently released EP " OK Chorale" the band not only plans to tour the region but to organize and host their own EDM concert and event with other participating local acts. As of right now the band has not announced dates for their hosted show but plan on hosting the first show this August. Formed in 2015 by The Doctor (Bartee), band members Disalvo (drums and percussion) and Lane (guitar) were recruited during the recording process for the upcoming EP. Deciding to stay, Bartee, Disalvo and Lane formed Mindless Medicine and has gathered a dedicated fanbase "patients" through local performances and releases on their social networks.

With success in sight the band's ready to give their patients and the world a little taste of its own medicine.
