"Dimitry is a veteran marketing executive with nearly 25 years' experience in the export-import industry", said Dr. Bryan Christiansen, the company's president and founder. "He is a perfect fit for our company, as we are involved in the export and import of medical equipment, technology, energy, and related industries in Asia and Eastern Europe", added Dr. Christiansen.
Kolganov, like Dr. Christiansen, is a former IBM salesperson who has spent a majority of his business career in the international arena. Fluent in Bulgarian, English, German, Russian, and Turkish, Kolganov is expected to help develop business particularly in Eastern Europe and Turkey where Covente, LLC has become increasingly involved since June, 2008.
Dr. Christiansen first met Kolganov in Tyumen, Russia in 1998 when the former was marketing international accounting and finance software from SunSystems throughout the Former Soviet Union. The two marketing specialists have kept in touch since then, and recently Dr. Christiansen approached Kolganov with the executive appointment after learning that Kolganov had closed his own consultancy based in Moscow.
A native of Vladivostok, Russia, Kolganov holds a Master's degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Far Eastern National University in Vladivostok. Married to the former Viktoria Yudina, Kolganov has two sons and a daughter who all live in Canada.
