The Remodeling 550 is a list of the nation's largest residential renovation companies. It comprises four categories: full service remodeling, specialty and replacement, insurance restoration companies and franchise operations. Craftsman Construction was named on the full service remodeling list, #264 Nationwide. According to the magazine, full-service remodeling companies offer general contractor services in renovation projects ranging from whole-house remodels to handyman jobs.

This year's "Remodeling 550" encompasses 325 full-service and 150 replacement contracting companies as well as insurance restoration firms and franchise operations. The introduction notes that combined, the replacement contractors that made the 2015 list completed more than 400,000 jobs in 2014. Collectively, the 325 full-service companies garnered more than $1.4 billion in revenues, up from $1.25 billion in 2014, while the 150 replacement contractors collected nearly $2.3 billion last year. The revenue represents a growth of 14% year-over-year among America's biggest full-service remodelers.
