/24-7PressRelease/ -- Crane Plastics has just announced the formation of a subsidiary based in the United Kingdom, Spraydown Solutions LTD. The new company will operate under a global licensing agreement for the manufacture and distribution of Spraydown Aeroguard Technology, an innovative spray suppression and fuel saving device for heavy trucks. This is an expansion of Crane's role over the last three years which began with taking over manufacture of the product for global exportation and displacing a former Chinese supplier. The new company will continue to employ staff in the UK, as well as facilitate growth in American manufacturing jobs. Spraydown is currently widely used in the United Kingdom as well as Europe where spray suppression legislation has lead to an increased interest in enhanced safety products such as the Spraydown Aeroguard System. US sales are also growing through a distribution arrangement with Betts Spring Co. in Fresno California.
Spraydown Solutions LTD is registered in Scotland and will be lead by Managing Director Matt Fenneman, who is also the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Crane Plastics. Fenneman has been part of the Spraydown project since Crane Plastics developed an innovative assembly system to dramatically reduce the piece count and complexity of the product. The creation of this new company will unify the European and North American marketing and sales efforts and facilitate global expansion of distribution.
