ORLANDO, FL, February 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- iPhone App Lab has released their latest app, Crowd Noise. The official Crowd Noise app (http://www.crowdnoiseapp.com) plays simulated crowd noise through a user's iPhone. The app will be able to double the crowd noise at any sporting event venue, providing a competitive advantage for the home team.

"I was at an Orlando Magic game and started to think about how I could use my iPhone to support the team," explained Brent Nau, creator of the official Crowd Noise app. "The idea to easily play a crowd noise audio clip through my iPhone came to mind."

"I truly believe this app has the ability to enhance the home crowd noise and provide sport teams a competitive advantage. While the NBA has a rule about prohibiting artificial noise during free throws, there is nothing stated about fake crowd noise through a fan's cell phone. The NFL has a rule in regards to noise-making devices, but it does not clearly state that a cell phone could be considered such a device. Some sporting venues have specific policies that prohibit artificial noise makers, but does this mean that cell phones will be a prohibited item at sporting events? We will have to see," stated Brent Nau.

The official Crowd Noise app allows the user to set up custom profiles for their favorite NBA, NFL, NHL, NASCAR, FIFA, College, High School or any other sports team. Each profile allows the user to set up three team colors from the color picker as well as upload a team logo of their choice.

The user will be able to choose between the default profile, stealth profile, or a custom profile. The default profile will display the default orange background, the stealth profile will display a blacked out version of the default background, and the custom profile will flash the team colors and logo.

The user then can simply tap the main screen to start the crowd noise and tap it again to stop the crowd noise. If a custom profile is selected the colors will flash when the crowd noise is started. If the custom profile had an image uploaded, the image will be displayed while the background colors flash.

The official Crowd Noise App was developed by iPhone App Lab (http://www.iphoneapplab.net). iPhone App Lab specializes in developing creative iPhone applications. We help small to large businesses expand their customer reach, increase brand awareness, and provide a competitive advantage through one of the world's most popular technologies, the iPhone.
