RALEIGH, NC, November 26, 2008
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Crystal Hall, CPM, RPA, Senior Real Estate Manager for CB Richard Ellis, has been awarded CPM of the Year by the Greater Raleigh-Durham Chapter 105 of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Hall was presented her award at the Chapter's November Officer Installation Meeting held on November 12th at The Angus Barn.
CPM stands for Certified Property Manager, a real estate professional designation that is awarded by IREM and recognized by the National Association of REALTORS (NAR). To attain a CPM designation, candidates must join IREM, as well as their local IREM Chapter. They must also pass several IREM-required courses including marketing, human resources, asset management, and ethics and complete a management plan on a subject building.
Hall was the 2007 President of the Greater Raleigh-Durham Chapter and was chosen for her award based on her dedication and commitment to her profession, the real estate industry, and the local IREM Chapter. During her one-year term, Hall was responsible for several Chapter "firsts" including receipt of the first FIVE Star Chapter Award, sponsorship of first student/candidate social, holding the Chapter's first full week of education, and having the most people attend the National Conference.
Hall also increased Chapter membership by 23%, added 10 new student members via fundraising efforts, increased income and expense goals by 62%, held six successful chapter meetings, and promoted CPM/ARM credentials by meeting with several local companies. She also became a member of the adjunct faculty for St. Augustine College.
"All of us at IREM are extremely proud of Crystal and the remarkable achievements she made with our Chapter," says IREM President, Cliff Hamner, CPM. "Her accomplishments over a 12-month period were extraordinary, and I can't think of anyone more deserving of this award."
