CTWO Products Eliminates Costly Password Reset Calls by Providing free Password Rescue Service to Safexs Users

CTWO Products AB a leading supplier of customised USB encryption solutions, today announces cost savings made by providing their free Password Rescue Service, to companies that deploy Safexs Protector hardware-based encrypted USB memory sticks.

    MALMO, SWEDEN, March 07, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Safexs Protector 3.0 and Safexs Protector XT come with bulit-in Password Rescue functionality, during initialisation the user or admin is asked to register the device and owner information with CTWO, once registered the Password Rescue Service is then activated on the users device, if they then lose their password, all the user needs to do is access the help menu and email the encrypted support code to CTWO or their Admin, the user is then authenticated and an unlock code is sent via email.

"In the last 12 months, we have provided this service directly to more than 500 NHS device users alone, eliminating help desk calls and most importantly saving sensitive data and keeping productivity levels high, the total costs saved are huge!." Said James Baker, VP of Sales & Marketing, CTWO Products AB

Mary, a Clinical Physician at a London hospital, is one of thousands of users, that has benefited from this free service, Mary said "I was logging into my Secure stick and my mind went blank, I tried a few different password combinations but after 4 attempts I knew that I had forgotten the password, I was due to give a safeguarding presentation later that morning, and my PowerPoint presentation was stored on the stick, I had registered the device myself for password reset and within a couple of hours, I had an unlock code and was able to unlock the device and access my files, in time for my presentation".

Baker continued; "With GDPR being a hot topic right now, data security is at the forefront of all IT security managers minds, encrypted storage of data is just one part of the GDPR puzzle, but when choosing such a solution, companies should not just be looking at how the data is stored and accessed, but also the total cost of ownership of such devices, the hardware cost is a very small part of this, and you can't put a price on lost data."

Not only do end users benefit from this free service, but also channel partners, by having a direct support service built into all Safexs Protector devices, significantly reduces partner support, leaving distributors and resellers to focus on customer relationships

Safexs Protector comes with many powerful features that protect against loss of data, with built-in secure backup and the Free Password Rescue Service. The devices are available to purchase worldwide through Safexs distributors and resellers;
