Mr. Tonry became a partner five years ago, bringing to the firm his expertise and experience in criminal defense and litigation for personal injury, medical malpractice and real estate cases. The firm was one of the first completely destroyed during Hurricane Katrina, and Mr. Tonry is proud that it has managed to rebuild and reestablish itself after that tragedy. Mr. Tonry received his JD from Southern University. His professional affiliations include the 34th Judicial District Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the St. Bernard Economic Development Commission. He aspires to venture into public office in the future.
