    CLEWISTON FL, November 25, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Dr. Cynthia Andrews Scott has seven years of experience as a pharmacist for Wal-Mart Co., five y ears with Glades General Hospital, and two years with Walgreens Co. Her responsibilities include performing drug interaction analysis, counseling patients on prescription, as well as, over-the-counter medications, dispensing medications, performing drug utilization reviews and interacting with customers in order to assess their specific needs. She also works in a community hospital as a Clinical Pharmacist. Her responsibilities include interacting with resident physicians, performing renal dose adjustments, assessing coumadin dosing, performing kinetic calculations for Vancomycin and Gentamycin daily, calculating and preparing TPNs for adults and geriatric patients and calculating intravenous drug therapy for pediatric and neonatal patients. Wal-mart and Walgreen Co. are pharmacies that provides Pharmaceutical Products to the community. She became involved in her profession because of her experience working as a pharmaceutical technician since she was 19 years old, and she attributes her success to her hard work and attention to detail.

Dr. Scott received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Nova Southeastern University in 2000. She is a member of Palm Beach County Pharmacy Association; American Society of Health-System and ACP.
