/24-7PressRelease/ -- Senior Officials of the Smithsonian announced that a photograph entitled "Shaker Staircase" by David "Dakota" Toczko, one of NyghtFalcon's Senior Photographer and Director of the firm's Central Region, was selected as Photo of the Day on August 8 of this year. This photo has become the firm's second most published photograph.
"Dakota's use of light and shadow, his ability to bring a three dimensional experience of space through the eye of the camera is absolutely stunning," said Falcon, the firm's Senior Partner. "This photo is even more exceptional when one realizes that it was hand-held, using virtually no light, and that he was hanging over the railing when he took it. From the shadows bending over the wall to the sense of depth and distance this is a remarkable photograph."
