Atlanta personal trainer and
weight-loss expert, Dan McGrath of Body Solutions, challenged sweethearts across the city to nominate themselves or a loved one for a complimentary three-month
Atlanta weight-loss program.
Within days, applications came pouring in and within no time, McGrath had selected two people who would soon be on their way to health and
weight loss in Atlanta.
The Nominees:
Chezon Jackson was nominated by a dear friend who described her as "fiercely loyal and loving." A poet and student of sign language, Chezon has dealt with a weight problem most of her life and also suffers from diabetes. Weight-loss has been a long-time goal of Chezon's, but, like most, she' s struggled to get started.
Nominated by his wife, Jomal Vailes had simply gained weight over the early years of marriage and fatherhood. In order to be at his best for his family, Jomal knew he had to make his health a priority, especially after being rejected from the Superman ride at an amusement park last summer.
"Of the more than 200 applications submitted for the contest, Chezon and Jomal had the ideal combination of a significant weight-loss goal, personal drive and support from their friends and family, said McGrath. Those three attributes are what keep people engaged and determined during the weight loss process."
