Daniel S. Belsky Honored for His Work as a Defense Attorney

Mr. Belsky brings 37 years of professional experience to his position as a member of Belsky & Associates Law Offices. Throughout his career, he has set himself apart through his work in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, professional errors and omissions, and appellate practice. Mr. Belsky and his team are primarily hired by insurance providers and health care institutions in California. His firm currently encompasses six attorneys. Mr. Belsky became involved in his profession because he had always wanted to become an attorney. He had always loved Perry Mason and law shows, and he recalls being mesmerized by the courtroom scenes. While in law school, Mr. Belsky clerked for the Hon. Lewis B. Whitworth of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida from 1976 to 1977, so he was able to see the trials in action and draft decisions for the judge. That was what piqued his interest in the courtroom.

Mr. Belsky received a JD from the University of Miami in 1977 and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hobart College, where he graduated Cum Laude in 1974. Following his graduation with a law degree, he was admitted to practice in the State of California. Mr. Belsky was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains affiliation with the American Board of Trial Advocates, Litigation Counsel of America, Lawyers Club of San Diego, San Diego Defense Lawyers, the Medical and Legal Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the Southern California Association for Healthcare Risk Management, The State Bar of California and the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the ABA. In recognition of his contributions to the field, Mr. Belsky has been named a Top Lawyer in San Diego, and he has been honored as a San Diego Super Lawyer.
