Jeanette Michelle of Dark Mantis Internet talk show did not want to waste anytime in acknowledging E. Lynn Harris as a spectacular author in this Millennium.
"I never had the opportunity to meet him and I'm saddened that he passed on before I had that chance," says Jeanette Michelle. "In being an author, I appreciate what he had done - he told the truth in words that everyone feared to do. He took that step and opened Pandora's Box and told the truth about the life of being a homosexual on the down low. It saddens me that America does not recognize Black writers of his magnitude."
On Wednesday's show dated August 5th 2009, Jeanette Michelle along with co-host Autrey Rice will pay tribute to the late E. Lynn by reading excerpts from his books as well as a short bio.
