/24-7PressRelease/ -- Dascom Americas, a recognized leader in complete business printing solutions and marketer of Tally, Tally Dascom and TallyGenicom products formerly marketed by TallyGenicom Corporation, is pleased to announce a special trade-in rebate program geared toward the replacement of all IBM Serial Matrix Printers, including the well known 4247 model.
Under terms of the new program, customers may be eligible to receive a $300 rebate on each serial printer trade-in when replaced with a high speed Tally T2380 or a $200 rebate when replaced with a Tally T2365.
The program comes at a time when many believe there is some uncertainty in the mid range IBM Serial Printer marketplace about future products and support. Ricoh Company, Ltd., owner of the Ricoh Family Group of Companies, including InfoPrint Solutions, long term marketer of the IBM 4247, recently announced organizational changes resulting in InfoPrint Solutions headquarters leaving Boulder, Colorado.
Dascom Americas, incorporated in April 2010 in Virginia continues to pledge a long-term commitment to the mid range printer market and offers a host of serial matrix, specialty and thermal printers.
