/24-7PressRelease/ - Singapore, June 28, 2008 - The donation was raised by Datacraft employees based in the Singapore operations, as well as dollar-to-dollar contribution from the company.

"Our hearts and thoughts are with the thousands of cyclone victims in the disaster region in Myanmar," said Bill Padfield, CEO of Datacraft. "With Datacraft's operations entrenched throughout the Asia-Pacific region, we are deeply committed towards giving back to the society as part of our corporate social responsibility programme - Carecraft. We sincerely hope our donation will aid the victims in the healing process and pave the way to rebuilding their community."

"We are thankful for Datacraft's generosity in response to our call to provide aid to the victims of the cyclone-hit region in Myanmar. Datacraft's donation is a timely display of confidence within the donors' community in funding relief efforts currently underway in the country," said Christopher Chua, Singapore Red Cross' Secretary-General.

On 2 May, 2008, Cyclone Nagris swept through the low-lying Irrawaddy Delta in Myanmar, destroying homes, killing thousands and leaving millions homeless. Close to 56,000 people were reported missing and more than 77,000 were killed in the worst disaster in Myanmar's history.

In a separate donation drive for China quake victims, Datacraft has raised another S$6,300 which was also donated to the Singapore Red Cross Society.
