Upon receiving a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from the University of South Australia in 1990, Mr. Murray spent 20 years in the information technology industry, finding it to be very challenging with many opportunities to shape the industry as it continues to evolve. He spent 12 of those years at IBM Corporation, assuming roles as a client executive, general manager and managing director. He also worked in various start-up organizations and multi-national businesses, including as the manager of E-commerce at Camtech and the chief technology officer for Pharmanet. Having garnered expertise in business management, growth strategies, and complex sales, he joined Amdocs Australia, a unified communications and network services solutions company. The corporation offers system integration services, SI testing, workforce performance, learning services, business consulting, support services and managed services. As vice president, Mr. Murray is tasked with overseeing operations in both Australia and New Zealand, along with 400 personnel within those sectors. He is also in charge of managing profit and loss, strategic marketing and spearheading sales. Mr. Murray continuously brings operational excellence and performance and process improvement to the company. Accomplished in his field, he attributes his success to having strong coaches and mentors in his life. In the near future, he aspires to continue leading organizations in a senior executive role.

Aside from his flourishing career in the IT industry, Mr. Murray served in the military for two decades. Today, he maintains professional associations with Resilient Futures as a member of its board of directors. In his spare time, he enjoys learning about European history and running.
