David G. Schmidt Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

    /24-7PressRelease/ - La Jolla, CA, July 18, 2008, David G. Schmidt, President and Chief Executive Officer of LifeWave, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of product development.

With more than 20 years of professional experience, Mr. Schmidt specializes in business and product development. He is responsible for managing operations, monitoring sales, supervising staff, interfacing between departments, handling finances and interacting with distributors. Mr. Schmidt recently co-authored the book, "The LifeWave Experience." He also owns other companies including Advanced Applications Group, a research and development center that specializes in energy production technologies for both military and commercial applications.

Mr. Schmidt has developed new methods for producing hydrogen and oxygen, designed and prototyped multi-fueled bladeless turbine power generation systems, and constructed metal-combustion rocket engines. As a result of his innovations, he was presented with an honorary doctorate by Dr. Alexander Marinaccio of the International Hall of Fame. In addition, for his work in designing emergency oxygen systems for General Dynamics and the U.S. Navy, he was invited to participate in the Navy's next generation mini-sub program.

Mr. Schmidt considers being able to make a difference in the lives of people by developing a product that can be used as a drug-free route to relieve pain to be his greatest professional accomplishment. He feels that an increase in the demand of products is the most important issue facing his profession today. He hopes to develop new products, improve the infrastructure of the company and open new offices worldwide in the future.

Affiliated with the Army Aviation Association of America, Mr. Schmidt received his Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems and Biology from Pace University in 1986. He volunteers with the Rotary International in Philippines and was invited to be their honorary speaker. Mr. Schmidt has contributed $100,000 worth of pain relief products to the Philippines General Hospital in Manila. He stays current with the trends in his profession by reading industry-related publications, enrolling in continuing education courses and surfing the Internet.
