BELLEVUE, NE, September 15, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to name David K. Ho a Lifetime Achiever. An accomplished listee, Mr. Ho celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Drawing upon more than 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Ho is a respected authority in his areas of expertise, which range from business administration to academic instruction. Throughout the course of his career, he has been featured in a wide range of honors publications, including Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the Midwest. Mr. Ho was also selected for inclusion in the sixth and eighth editions of Who's Who in American Education, as well as the third edition of Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America. In 2003, he was named the recipient of the Faculty Award by the Nebraska Community College Association. Mr. Ho was also selected to receive the ConAgra Teaching Excellence Award.

Prior to pursuing a lucrative business career, Mr. Ho attended the University of Southern California, where he received a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering in 1970. He worked as an industrial engineer with FMC Corporation for three years before transitioning into a management role. From 1973 to 1977, he served as a manager of production planning and inventory control while pursuing an MBA, which he received through Butler University in 1976.
Mr. Ho continued to hone his skills as a materials manager and systems manager with the Butler Manufacturing Company as he completed a Master of Science in accounting through the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 1982, he joined the Behlen Manufacturing Company as a director of materials and systems. Within two years, Mr. Ho was promoted to the position of vice president of operations.

Mr. Ho enjoyed various managerial and executive roles with Lozier Corporation and Heatilator Inc. before joining the Metropolitan Community College as a management instructor in 1993. From 2008 to 2009, he held the role of interim chief instructional officer, and from 2009 to 2013, he served as the vice president of academic affairs. Although he officially retired in 2013, Mr. Ho is recognized as an emeritus member and evaluator with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. He continues to serve as a pathways peer reviewer, federal compliance panel reviewer, quality initiative proposal reviewer, and Institutional Actions Council member of the Higher Learning Commission.

One of Mr. Ho's most fulfilling experiences was traveling to Belize as part of a grant program relating to global education and business. As a representative from the Metropolitan Community College, he had an audience with the prime minister to discuss trade and related topics. Although the 45-minute conversation focused mainly on important figures such as former President Bill Clinton and Henry Ross Perot, Mr. Ho enjoyed having the opportunity to portray the benefits and virtues of trade and to hear about the concerns of a small country that was vitally trying to protect their assets. This experience afforded him an entirely new perspective on trade, which he was able to bring back to his students at Metropolitan Community College. With the recent inauguration of President Donald Trump, Mr. Ho believes the world focus will once again return to the importance of trade.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, David K. Ho has been featured on the Marquis Who's Who Lifetime Achievers website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
