David Philip Dresbach Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Mr. Dresbach has established himself as a reputable member of the finance industry with almost 50 years of experience as a financial consultant and educator. He has beenl recognized for his leadership as president of the Minnesota Financial Planning Association, transitioning the association onto a sound financial footing. Mr. Dresbach currently serves as the president of Dresbach and Associates, Incorporated in Saint Paul, Minnesota, a position he has held since 1995. Previously, he served Public Financial Management as the senior managing consultant for three years.

Mr. Dresbach also held various positions with Evensen Dodge Inc., a public finance consulting firm now called Evensen Dodge International. He was manager of Evensen Dodge Investment Advisors from 2001 to 2003, senior vice president from 2000 to 2003, vice president from 1985 to 1993, and manager from 1983 to 1984. Mr. Dresbach also served Springsted, Incorporated, in a wide variety of capacities: in 1994, he acted as a member of the Newsletter Editorial Board, and from 1993 to 1995, as the vice president and coordinator of the Higher Education Group. He also served the state of Minnesota as an administrator from 1979 to 1982, and the state of Ohio as an administrator from 1977 to 1979 and regional manager from 1973 to 1977. He began his career in 1969 as an administrator at Ohio University.

Outside of his career in finance, Mr. Dresbach served in academia as a lecturer at various institutions. He held the position of adjunct professor at Ohio University in Athens from 1969 to 1974, and also lectured at Franklin University in 1975, the Columbus Technical College from 1976 to 1979, Metropolitan State University in 1980, and the University of Minnesota from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, Mr. Dresbach was an active member of his community; he acted as the soccer coach and division chairman of the Grove City Kids Association from 1977 to 1979. He also served on the Solid Waste Management Advisory Committee of Dakota County as a member of the advisory board from 1992 to 2004, as well as a chairman of the board from 2000 to 2003.

Mr. Dresbach graduated from Ohio University with a Master of Arts in 1972, and has since become a certified financial planner. He has contributed multiple articles to professional journals, and has also contributed to numerous poetry anthologies, published in 1970, 1990, 1991, and 1993. He has been a member of multiple organizations, including the American Association of Individual Investors, the National Council of Higher Education Loan Programs, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and the Academy of American Poets. He also served the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota as chair in 2001 and president in 2000. As a member of the board of directors, he assisted in the merger of the Minnesota Institute of Certified Financial Planners with the Minnesota Chapter of the IAFP.

Mr. Dresbach has been recognized as a reputable member of his industry with the American Business Women's Association's Boss of the Year Award in 1980. He is also featured in numerous editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in the Midwest, and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
Mr. Dresbach has been married to Mary Louise Mathes for more than 35 years, and he is the father of two sons, Chad and Andrew. In his spare time, he enjoys his grandchildren, traveling, reading, painting, and golfing.
