BELLEVILLE, NJ, July 17, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/
-- David S. Katz, Retired Actor of the Screen Actors Guild, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in performing arts.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Katz acted in movies, on television, and in commercials. Mr. Katz retired nine years ago after a 50-year career acting on stage. Looking back over his career, Mr. Katz attributes his success to pursuing as many auditions as possible and landing one in three jobs, in addition to knowing how to handle rejection. He became involved in his profession because it was his childhood dream to pursue a career in acting.
Mr. Katz received a bachelor's degree in speech and drama from Syracuse University in 1959. He was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with the Association for the Advancement of Retired People. In years to come, Mr. Katz intends to continue enjoying his retirement.
