/24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Yang from the NCI will give a presentation on "Alarmin Regulation of Inflammation and Immunity" on January 30, 2009 at 8:45 on the second morning of the conference.
Dr. Yang will discuss in detail two different alarmins, describing their properties, the types of immune responses induced by them as well as their potential influence.
Attendees of the conference on January 29th and 30th will gain an understanding of the alarmin concept, the roles of alarmins, the underlying mechanism(s), and the importance of alarmins in the induction of inflammatory and/or immune responses.
