Deadline to Register for Delphi Santa Monica Summer Camp Fast Approaching

    SANTA MONICA, CA, April 15, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The local private school's summer program combines learning and fun in a day camp setting. The mornings are spent expanding on academic subjects such as math, writing, and reading. Special projects, such as the levitation car campers made one summer, rely on an integrated curriculum of multiple subjects. The early reading program has seen younger campers read for the very first time.

Afternoons at the Delphi Santa Monica Summer Camp are spent on fun summer activities. Weekly day trips are a staple at the program. Throughout the summer, campers travel around the Los Angeles area to experience the Long Beach Aquarium, Soak City Water Park, the Third Street Promenade, and many other exciting places.

Summer camp wouldn't be complete without swimming. Younger students, ages 4 to 6, stay on campus for outdoor water play. The older campers, ages 7 to 10, leave campus to swim at the Santa Monica Community College Pool.

There are also many special on-campus activities for campers to enjoy throughout the summer. These include, but aren't limited to, fine art classes; cooking classes; science classes and LEGO Engineering classes.
