Dear President Obama: The Report Card on the Performance of Your Education Leadership is Out; It is a Dismissal Failure; "US Teens Lag in Global Education as Other Countries Rise to the Top"

In spite of all the dynamics of an enthusiastic education leadership we are still stuck with little education improvement because we are fully focused on mind education while not just neglecting brain education; we even miseducate the brain.

Your education policy must ensure a super healthy emotional intelligence for every student. You must introduce emotional-intelligence education. You cannot allow the current mess to continue.

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ, December 06, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Education Secretary is eagerly trying very hard to improve education and yet America is falling behind other nations when it comes to education. He has been instrumental in pushing for education reform. He has even steered more money for education. He has focused on improving math and science education and yet even in these fields he gets a D grade.

Ever since your education leadership took charge America has been falling behind.

In spite of all the dynamics of an enthusiastic education leadership we are still stuck with little student improvement because we are fully focused on mind education while neglecting brain education. A vast section of the students enter with an emotionally challenged brain that blocks student's learning of regular education.

You have three more years and it is enough time to bring real progress in education. The first step is to recognize the true nature of the problem why American education is such a mess. The emotional intelligence of the vast majority of students is messed up and even those whose emotional intelligence is normal can be made super normal. You need to introduce a new subject that teaches emotional intelligence.

The crux of the problem is the emotional baggage that students bring to the class room. Instead of taking steps to heal their emotional baggage we make it worse by branding the students as failures. The real failure is not recognizing what the real problems are and where real reform is needed.

You and your education secretary must wake up to the cause of so much mess in education; it is the emotional baggage that the responsible and loving parents create by generating a false over confident self image of each child being the best. Then there are those students who come from broken homes, they need even more than just emotional intelligence education.

Not just brain education even regular education needs a massive overhaul. We spend vast amounts of money and time on making every student into a jack of all trades when in practical life every single work requires specific skills. A skilled mechanic does not need to be a good essayist nor does he need to know math and science. Just consider for those students who are not good at becoming jacks of all trades is it not better to make them into masters of specific skills that will earn them a good living. Just take a look at the German education model.

Our experts still do not have the ability to teach every student to be able to answer the question correctly, 'Who am I?' Well we at the 4th R Foundation have figured out how to enable every student to be able to answer this question correctly. The way we teach our children today the answer to this question comes in the form of an over-confident/under-confident or confused self image. The correct answer must always be, 'I am my pure self'.

In spite of all the advances in neuroscience we are still confused about the brain and mind and the differences and relationship between the two. It is very essential for cutting edge education to not only know the differences between the two we must know how to educate them both. Today we not only neglect brain education we actually miseducate the brain. We create students who have emotionally challenged brains. As a result not only do we Americans lag behind in brain education our mind education gets messed up too.

No matter how much money you spend on mind education unless you educate the brain; mind education will remain defective too. We at the 4th R foundation have developed a whole new subject that gets rid of the emotional baggage of the student making the student emotionally healthy and primed for mind education. We have published over 1600 papers, essays, blogs, articles and press releases that explain in detail what is wrong with our education system and how it can be fixed.

The 4th R Foundation is a non-profit education research foundation that researches informal/emotional intelligence education, human nature, brain, mind, conscientiousness, self, wisdom, life coaching, adult reeducation, shyness, self image, emotional baggage, education for life, art of living and brain education etc.
