Ms. Cooper has 22 years of overall professional experience, and has been with Saratoga Hospital for 12 years. At her current post, she is responsible for performing duties in hematology, microbiology, chemistry and blood bank laboratories, and performing duties of the supervisor when needed.

A licensed medical technologist, Ms. Cooper has overcome a lot in her life. Since the age of 7, she has been a diabetic. In 1989, she received a kidney transplant when her sister donated one of her kidneys. This experience led her to become interested and eventually pursue a career in the healthcare field.

In 1987, Ms. Cooper received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University at Buffalo. She is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and is New York State licensed.
