Cambridge Who's Who
/Cambridge Who's Who/ - Boca Raton, FL, April 1, 2008, Neuroscientist Deborah Yonezawa will be included as an honored member in the 2008-2009 edition of the
Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry for excellence in neuroscience.
Mrs. Yonezawa, who is a senior Ph.D. student in Biomedical Science at Florida Atlantic University, holds a Master's Degree in Neuroscience from her native Brazil. Already on her 11th year of scientific research, six of which have been spent at FAU, she specializes in neuroscience and neuropsychology. Throughout her career, Mrs. Yonezawa has been involved in a number of pioneering projects, including inclusion in the first team of neurosurgeons in Latin America to perform epilepsy surgery using stereo tactic implantation of depth electrodes. An active contributor to the Epilepsy Association, the Women in Science Association and the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, she intends to continue her work with Alzheimer's and epilepsy, hoping to eventually find solutions to these neurological diseases.
An authority on neurological research and surgery, Mrs. Yonezawa is available to speak with the media. She may be reached through email at
