Roger A.M. Edwards, lead author for Oxford Publishing, continues to excel in academia and private practice

Melbourne, Australia, May 23, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roger A.M. Edwards, Psychologist in private practice and Supervising Psychologist with the Krongold Clinic (Counselling Psychology and Educational and Developmental Psychology), located at the Clayton Campus of Monash University, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education and psychology.

Mr. Edwards has over 40 years of experience in his field, and has been with Monash University for the past 5 years. Mr. Edwards gives lectures in the masters and post-graduate programs and supervises postgraduate students and provincial registered professionals who are preparing for their placements. He also has a private practice.

Mr. Edwards is also the lead author of psychology textbooks for Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) years 11 and 12, published by Oxford University Press in 2010 and 2011 and serves as the series editor for Oxford University Press's years 10, 11, and 12 psychology textbooks. He was also the chief assessor of VCE psychology for 2003 to 2011. He previously worked as a school counselor/psychologist at Mentone Grammar. Mr. Edwards attributes his success to his love of learning, interpersonal skills, and hard work.

Mr. Edwards received his Master of Education in Psychology from the University of Melbourne in 1993, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Swinburne University of Technology in 1989, a Master of Education Studies from the University of Tasmania in 1982 and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Exeter University in 1969. He also holds an Applied Psychology Graduate Diploma from Swinburne University and an Education Graduate Diploma from the University of Tasmania.

Mr. Edwards is a member of the Australian College of Educators, Australian Psychological Society and Australian Association of Psychologists. He hopes to finish his Ph.D. in psychology at Monash University and continue to work on validating and norming a personality assessment instrument for children and adolescents in Australia. He also hopes to continue to update his textbooks as the lead author for Oxford Publishing, and to continue in private practice.
