/24-7PressRelease/ -- Lauren Elaine, the designer behind the high-end, women's couture label Lauren-Elaine Designs (LED), in partnership with JB Entertainment and the Dolce Group, will host a red carpet showing of the new Siren Collection at Les Deux in Hollywood on June 25th, 2009. The event, which will showcase LED's newest collection on two uniquely inspired runways in the Parisian-themed venue, will kick-off with red carpet arrivals at 10:00pm, followed by the runway show at 11:30pm.
The LED label officially launched during LA Fashion week in March 2008, and the Siren Collection recently debuted as the finale show for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Downtown on April 11th 2009. Since launching, designer Lauren Elaine has secured much popularity and a small celebrity following for her ultra-femme, effortlessly elegant evening gowns, cocktail dresses, and separates. The Siren collection is the second full collection for LED- taking inspiration from both sirens in Greek mythology, as well as the silver screen sirens of the 40s and 50s. "I worked with a lot of silks and water-colored chiffons, as well as beautiful, pastel-hued brocades. It's very feminine and fanciful, but still completely wearable," said Elaine.
Les Deux, a product of the Dolce Group, provides the perfect venue for such an event. "I'm really excited to be hosting the show at Les Deux. Not only is it known for being amongst the most prestigious first-class venues in LA, but also the ambience perfectly suits my newest collection. It's a little exotic, very luxurious, and something completely unique. I'm not presenting a typical runway show, and Les Deux is certainly not your typical nightclub," says Elaine.
