GILBERT, AZ, June 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diana Friday, Gifted Specialist for the Queen Creek Unified School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

Specializing in economics and mathematics and Language Arts instruction, Ms. Friday has been a gifted specialist for 25 years. At the Queen Creek Unified School District, she evaluates and creates the curriculum for gifted kindergarten through sixth-grade students. Additionally, Ms. Friday serves as a consultant for the National Writing Project. She attributes her success to her perseverance.

In 1999, Ms. Friday received a Master of Education from Georgia State University. She is a member of the National Association for Gifted Children National Science Teachers Association and the Arizona Society for Economics Teachers (ASET) where she serves as a board member for elementary education. She was recognized with a Teacher of the Year Award for Economics, in 2010. In the future, Ms. Friday hopes to continue working with the Royal Flamingo Society.
