Dianne Aroh, RN, MSN, NEA-BC Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals

    HACKENSACK, NJ, September 2, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dianne Aroh, Executive Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Hackensack University Medical Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.

As the executive vice president and chief nursing officer, Ms. Aroh is accountable for partnering with other senior executives in developing and implementing the strategic plan of Hackensack University Medical Center. She is responsible for the oversight of nursing scope of practice, professional standards and care delivery systems, as they directly relate to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.

Ms. Aroh was formerly Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Nurse Executive at Montefiore Medical Center, New York. She has been in her role at Hackensack University Medical Center since January, 2006.

Ms. Aroh holds a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration, and is Board Certified in Advanced Administration. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, New Jersey Organization of Nurse Executives and the Greater New York Association of Nurse Executives. She is a member of the Nursing Advisory Board for Felician College, New Jersey, the Nursing Advisory Board of the New York Times, and the Board of Directors of the Nigerian Nurses' Association, New York.

Ms. Aroh is the recipient of several awards for outstanding leadership and community service, the most recent being, the 2009 Healthcare Professionals' Image of Nursing Award for Excellence in Leadership.

Ms. Aroh is a frequent speaker on nursing and other healthcare related topics.
