With 32 years of professional experience, Mr. Byrd serves as Owner and Broker of Byrd Realty LLC. In his position, he sells properties and manages European Investments in the local market. Prior to establishing the agency, he worked for JCPenney as a Manager then left the company to open his own 32 lane bowling center in Ohio, where he also served as president of the Ohio Bowling Proprietors Association of America.

Mr. Byrd completed coursework at Michigan State University and Ohio State University. He believes his integrity, hard work and strong faith enabled him to to become the manager of a store for JCPenney and subsequently own and manage his own Bowling Center. After retiring, he moved to Florida, where he embarked on his third career as a Real Estate Broker. He currently owns his own company, Byrd Realty LLC. He is a member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors, which honored him with many awards including the Meritorious Award In 1995 and 1998. In 1999 he achieved the Sarasota Realtor of the Year Award. Accompanied by his wife Patsy's love and support, he has achieved admirable success in his career. He also now serves as an Elder in his Church.
