custom silicone wristbands will pay only $0.15 each, for a total of $750. If they sell those bands on campus or at after school events for $2 each, they'll net $9,250 for Haitian relief.
Every wristband sold also serves as a reminder to others of the help Haiti so desperately needs. The
custom wristbands will help keep people aware of the ongoing emergency as the earthquake and its aftermath gradually fades from the daily news broadcasts and blogs. The need won't stop when the pictures go away. Neither should the help. America's young people are making sure that it won't.
