/24-7PressRelease/ - DENVER, CO, July 23, 2008 - Disaboom (OTCBB: DSBO; http://www.disaboom.com), the premier online community and resource for people touched by disability, today announced that it will webcast the National Forum on Disability Issues, a historic, nonpartisan forum held in Columbus, Ohio, which allows the presidential candidates to present their visions for the future of disability policy in America. The forum will be webcast live on disaboom.com Saturday, July 26, 2008, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. EDT. To view the live webcast, prior registration is required at http://www.disaboom.com/AAPDSignUp.aspx. A video of the forum will also be available for download at disaboom.com following the live webcast.

The event, organized by the American Association for People with Disabilities (AAPD), offers a unique opportunity for the presidential candidates to reach voters with disabilities. Presumptive presidential nominees, Senator Barack Obama and Senator John McCain, have both been invited to participate and present their disability policy plans individually. Presentations will be followed by a moderated question and answer session, which will cover such topics as employment, healthcare, long-term community-based support, transportation, education and more.

"In this historic election year, it's vital that politicians recognize the importance of voters with disabilities," said Dr. Glen House, founder of Disaboom. "That is why we're proud to provide this free webcast to the disability community and the community at large."

The forum will commemorate the 18th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and address issues important to the disability community. Disaboom encourages voters to form watching parties in order to stimulate dialogue and ensure that people without access to a computer are able to participate.
