DISNEY PRESIDENT FEATURED SPEAKER AT 'REBUILDING INTEGRITY IN THE WORKPLACE'

An event titled "Rebuilding Integrity in the Workplace" featuring nationally recognized speakers will be held Friday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Kansas City.



    /24-7PressRelease/ - KANSAS CITY, MO, March 21, 2007 -- Are you tired of hearing about moral and ethical business blunders by such companies as Enron, Tyco and WorldCom? The Integrity Resource Center believes it is time to bring integrity back in the workplace and will host a major event featuring some of the nation's leading speakers on the issue.

Al Weiss, the president of worldwide operations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts who is responsible for 93,000 employees, will be a keynote speaker at the first-ever Faith Incorporated 2007 event titled "Rebuilding Integrity in the Workplace."

Weiss will speak on "Guiding Principles for Faith and Work" and speak about his journey and the principles he has used to maintain his faith and integrity through a variety of roles and leadership positions. He began his career 34 years ago with Disney as an hourly worker and rose to his current position in November 2005.

Miriam Erickson Brown, president and CEO of Anderson Erickson Dairy, will discuss "Leading with Excellence and Integrity" about her journey to model integrity and excellence. Dr. Tom Nelson, senior pastor of Kansas City's Christ Community Evangelical Free Church and author, will deliver an address on "Connecting Sunday to Monday," and call on the community to walk deeply and authentically with God.

The event is open is hosted by the Integrity Resource Center of Olathe, KS. and open to everyone and will be held Friday, April 27, in the Jr. Ballroom of the Kansas City Convention Center (301 West 13th St., KCMO). An exhibit area will be open at 11 a.m. with the program starting at 12:30 p.m. and ending at 4:15 p.m.
