- ORLANDO, FL, August 23, 2008 - Epcot's 13th annual International Food & Wine Festival is set to take place from September 26 through November 9, 2008 at the Walt Disney World Resort, located near the Courtyard Orlando
Hotel in Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village. Showcasing the flavors of the world, this year's theme is "Cities in Wonderland," where hungry guests can embark on an epicurean adventure from Cork, Ireland to Cape Town, South Africa.
The six-week festival will highlight tastes from countries on six continents with more than 25 international marketplaces that will serve tapas-sized portions of regional specialties from $2 to $5 each, along with recommended wines and beers to perfectly pair with each dish.
The event also features the nightly Eat to the Beat! Concert Series which features a varied lineup of classic rock, soul, R&B, oldies, jazz and funk hit-makers. Concerts are performed three times each evening at America Gardens Theatre along the World Showcase lagoon.
