Along with the new partnership with the skincare company, Dix has also partnered with a gourmet company, Powerhouse Gourmet, which specializes in meals specific to his diet. Currently, Dix is in talks with a premium headphone company in which he hopes to add to his sponsor team as well. While all of these companies have agreed to support the Olympian, he is still a free agent looking for shoe sponsorship.
Dix finished last season with a blazing sub-10 performance in Rieti, building major momentum going into the 2014 season. Along with this momentum, he hopes to have signed a contract before the outdoor season kicks off.

With the new upcoming season approaching, one of America's top sprinters is excited and anxious. "I feel really good. Everything is going really well. I've been able to really focus on my technique and race pattern. Coach and I have been working on a lot of things and believe we are going to have some great races once we put it all together!"
"He has been working hard. We've changed a couple of things around and have been coming up with great results. We are still shopping around and checking with companies, but it hasn't taken any of the focus away from our main objective, which is to get out there and run fast! We can't wait to get started!" says Washington.
This weekend marks the fourth annual Walter Dix Invitational event. This is a major event in which Dix hosts for all high schools, allowing them to come and showcase their talents. "I try to make sure we have fun every year at this meet. I remember my days running and I want to give the same chance to the youth so they can enjoy events like these in the same manner I did growing up," says Dix.
"Each year we have grown and enjoyed ourselves as well as the talent that is showcased. So far we've locked in 19 high school teams. We are looking forward to a great event!" says Washington.
Dix is scheduled to make his debut on the track in early May
