/24-7PressRelease/ - RANCHO SANTA FE, CA, September 05, 2008 - Last week's furor over a three dollar bill depicting presidential candidate Barack Obama in Arab headdress was not the work of Republican operatives according to the bill's creator, Jesse Dalton. "We did it," says Dalton, "Frankly I don't think the Republicans are clever enough to come up with anything this cool."

Dalton, Managing Editor of http://www.Slick.com is a registered Independent who relishes lampooning both parties. "Both the Republican and Democratic parties currently represent a depth of ineptitude, hypocrisy and corruption that boggles the mind," says Dalton. "They're both fair game," he adds.

The company's faux Obama bill, which Snohomish County Washington Republicans were reselling at the Evergreen State Fair, depicts Obama wearing a traditional Arab headdress, with the title of "The Prince of Platitudes." "They bought them from us and were simply reselling them," said Dalton.

John McCain has not escaped the company's satirical ribbing. Slick.com has issued a John "McMummy" $3 bill depicting McCain as a partially unwrapped mummy. Issued by "The Liberalized GOP of America" the three dollar "Note of Desperation" conceals a number of jokes and zingers. The bill can be seen here: http://www.slick.com/mccain.asp

The company founded in 1992, has issued gag currency lampooning George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Ross Perot, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Al Gore and many other politicians. Slick.com publishes The Loose Change Gazette, an online satirical offering targeting Obama, McCain and other politicians. According to Dalton, "It's yellow journalism at its best and is certain to offend the politically correct."

Both the Obama and McCain funny money can be seen here: http://www.slick.com
