"We did it," says Dalton, "Frankly I don't think the Republicans are clever enough to come up with anything this cool."
Dalton, Managing Editor of http://www.Slick.com is a registered Independent who relishes lampooning both parties. "Both the Republican and Democratic parties currently represent a depth of ineptitude, hypocrisy and corruption that boggles the mind," says Dalton. "They're both fair game," he adds.
The company's faux Obama bill, which Snohomish County Washington Republicans were reselling at the Evergreen State Fair, depicts Obama wearing a traditional Arab headdress, with the title of "The Prince of Platitudes." "They bought them from us and were simply reselling them," said Dalton.
John McCain has not escaped the company's satirical ribbing. Slick.com has issued a John "McMummy" $3 bill depicting McCain as a partially unwrapped mummy. The company founded in 1992, has issued gag currency lampooning George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Ross Perot, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Al Gore and many other politicians. According to Dalton, "It's yellow journalism at its best and is certain to offend the politically correct."
