Rego Park Medical Associates was founded 50 years ago by Dr. Weissman's father, Harold Weissman, MD. The practice has continued to flourish under his, and now, Audrey's superb qualifications. Rego Park Medical Associates offers the following procedures: scratch, prick, intradermal, oral, anesthesis, drug desensitization, pulmonary function studies, patch testing, nitrogen washout, bronchoprovocation studies, nebulization (respiratory and sinus), flexible naso-pharyngoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, radiology, sonography, laboratory, and EKG/event monitoring event.

She was also included in Castle Connelly's Book of Best Doctors and was one of 2,000 American women recognized for past achievements and outstanding contributions to the community.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member in good standing with the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, New York Allergy Asthma Society, Long Island Allergy & Asthma Society, The Medical Society of the State of New York, The Medical Society of the County of Queens, Inc., and Joint Council of Allergy Asthma & Immunology.
Dr. Audrey Weissman earned her MD from Meharry Medical College in Tennessee in 1985. She then completed an internship at North Shore LIJ Health Systems, NY, a residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, NJ, and a fellowship at Mount Sinai/St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, NY. She also completed additional training in infectious disease.
