CLEARWATER, FL, January 08, 2009
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. David Minkoff, M.D. (http://www.drminkoff.com), alternative healthcare expert and educator, releases the first of his "Aspects of Achieving Optimum Health" lecture series scheduled for January 2009. Dr. Minkoff delivers two sets of no-cost educational lectures, one for the general public and a second tailored to healthcare practitioners.
"Is It True That Mercury Can Ruin Your Health?" is the first lecture for the general public in January 2009. Mercury, more poisonous than lead or arsenic, is given in daily doses by amalgams, tuna sandwiches, vaccines and pollution. Dr. Minkoff will discuss the dangers of mercury, the illnesses it is associated with and how to take remedial action. The lecture will be given at Nature's Food Patch, Wednesday, January 14th, 2009, in Clearwater, Fl and is open to anyone who would like to attend free of charge.
The "Aspects of Achieving Optimum Health" teleconference seminar series tailored for healthcare practitioners, begins with three lectures. Due to its importance as the first step in a protocol, the first teleconference seminar, "How to diagnose the metal-toxic patient," will be held on two dates, January 7th and 21st at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Equally important, and much discussed, the second seminar, " Autism—why is it on the rise?" will be held January 14th, at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
The third seminar, "New methods for assessing body protein synthesis, and new treatments using amino acid supplementation for chronic illness and sports performance," will be held January 28th, at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The teleconferences are open to any healthcare practitioner wishing to attend at no-charge. Anyone wishing to attend may call Cindy at 727-441-4954 to sign-up.
Dr. Minkoff defines optimum health as follows, "Optimum Health: "A person whose body is in excellent condition, with plentiful energy and freedom from pain. The body of a person with optimum health should be able to deal with routine environmental stressors without breaking down, and should be able to recover quickly after physical insults. It should allow a person trouble-free performance so that he or she can enjoy the maximum lifespan of his or her genetic endowment."
It is from his belief that optimum health can be achieved and his commitment to helping others live long productive lives that motivate Dr. Minkoff to deliver his "Aspects of Achieving Optimum Health" lecture series.
Dr. Minkoff also currently devotes time to writing and research. The book he is writing, "How To Live To 120 and Feel Like 35," explores the difference between chronological age and biological age and explains the steps one can take to lengthen his/her lifespan while retaining feelings of youth, energy, vitality, and health in his/her body. The book is intended to be a handbook for the body. For more information about Dr. David Minkoff and to read more of his work visit http://www.drminkoff.com.
About Dr. David I. Minkoff MD
Dr. David Minkoff graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and worked as an attending physician in infectious disease while conducting original research on Ribaviron, a broad spectrum anti-viral agent to fight disease. He co-directed a neo-natal intensive care unit and worked in emergency medicine until 1995, when his wife became sick with an illness no physician could diagnose.
Not accepting an uncertain prognosis, Dr. Minkoff went on a search to help her that led him out of emergency medicine into alternative medicine to find the answers. The answers he found became a catalyst for founding BodyHealth.Com, a nutrition company that now manufactures and distributes these cutting-edge solutions for the many health problems today.
