Dr. Jeffrey A. Holmboe Won the Patients' Choice Award from Vitals in 2014

Dr. Jeffrey Holmboe celebrates more than 25 years of practiced industry experience



He most recently has shifted his clinical efforts to serve the Redmond community and hospital primarily focusing on orthopedic trauma.

    BEND, OR, August 25, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Center Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care & Research Medical Doctor and Orthopedic Surgeon Jeffrey Holmboe has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in orthopedic trauma.

Recognized for more than two and a half decades of invaluable contributions to his field, Dr. Holmboe parlays his knowledge into his role with The Center for Orthopedic & Neurosurgical Care & Research, which provides diagnostic and treatment services for all musculoskeletal conditions, including neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, occupational medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and sports medicine. On a day-to-day basis, he focuses on orthopedic surgery, and foot and ankle treatments. Additionally, he treats a variety of injuries and conditions with advanced surgical procedures and nonsurgical techniques. He most recently has shifted his clinical efforts to serve the Redmond community and hospital primarily focusing on orthopedic trauma.

Board certified through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Holmboe shines in his field due to his prior industry experiences and his educational background. He began with an undergraduate degree from Yale University, and in 1984, earned his MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Six years after completing his MD, he finished his residency in orthopedic surgery through the University of California, San Francisco. In 1991, he completed a fellowship in advanced orthopedic foot and ankle surgery through Duke University.

A member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Holmboe has won a variety of awards, including the Patients' Choice Award from Vitals in 2014, and a Most Compassionate Doctor Award through Vitals in the same year. Looking forward, he will continue to maintain his trauma practice primarily serving the Redmond community and SCMC Redmond hospital. He hopes to be recognized as a leader in orthopedic trauma and surgery in Central Oregon.
