With 14 years of experience in healthcare, Dr. Jeffrey T. Follansbee is an expert in pain management and anesthesiology. He lends his talents to River Lakes Pain and Wellness Center, a new clinic that specializes in a holistic, comprehensive approach to pain management. In his current position, he is responsible for medical and interventional pain management. and working in physical therapy, rehabilitation, nutrition and weight counseling. In addition to his work for the center, Dr. Follansbee is affiliated with Menomonee Falls Ambulatory Surgery Center and Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, where he previously served as an anesthesiologist and pain specialist. He considers helping others to be the most gratifying aspect of a career in healthcare, and attributes his success to diligence and dedication.
A board-certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Follansbee completed his fellowship in pain management in 2002. He underwent his residency in anesthesia and earned his MD and Pain Management Fellowship, both at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His professional affiliations include the Wisconsin Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Board of Physicians Specialties. In 2008, Dr. Follansbee was honored by Cambridge Who's Who as Professional of the Year in Anesthesiology.
