Dr. Nader Dakak, MD, Honored for Excellence in Interventional Cardiology

Nader Dakak, MD, has been named a Top Doctor by both Healthgrades and Castle Connolly and a Top U.S. cardiologist by USA Today.

After losing his father at an early age due to health issues, Dr. Dakak decided to pursue a medical career in order to help others in similar situations. He now possesses more than 25 years of professional experience, as well as expertise in general and in interventional cardiology. Dr. Dakak currently serves in Maryland and in the Washington DC metropolitan area. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at The George Washington University.

Dr. Dakak attended medical school at the Technion- Israel Institute of Technology. He later completed a residency program in internal medicine at Rothshild University Hospital in Haifa and at the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC. Dr. Dakak completed fellowship programs in cardiology at the Carmel Hospital in Haifa and at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda Maryland. He is American Board-Certified in cardiovascular disease, and in interventional cardiology.

Dr. Dakak conducted clinical research. He has more than 40 publications in peer review medical journals. He had the privilege to present his work at the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology and at the European Heart meetings.

In recognition of his professional excellence, Dr. Dakak was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry. His previous honors include being named a Top Doctor by both Healthgrades and Castle Connolly and a Top U.S. cardiologist by USA Today.
