Backed by more than 25 years of professional excellence in his field, Dr. Krishna currently works as the Medical Director of Medical Clinics of NYC, which is dedicated to providing comprehensive, quality health care services in several offices in and around the city. Dr. Krishna also acts as the Chief Of Neurology and Director Of Stroke Service at NY Presbyterian-Community Hospital, and as an Attending Physician at NY Cornell Methodist Hospital. Dr. Krishna pursued and completed his Residency in Neurology at Mount Sinai Medical Center and then subsequently went on to pursue and complete his Fellowship at the New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases, Epilepsy Surgery and Neuromuscular Diseases.
Since completion of Residency and Fellowship, Dr. Krishna has published several studies in fields and topics related to Neurology including Traumatic Brain Injury(TBI), Stroke, Neurodiagnostic Testing, Diffusion Tensor Imaging(DTI), and Medical Marijuana; going so far as to publish his own TBI Handbook titled "The TBI Patient Handbook: A Guide to Understanding TBI" in August of this year.
Dr. Krishna is certified through the American Academy of Neurology, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the American Academy of Pain Management, and the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners; while also affiliating himself with the Medical Arbitration Panel for the New York State Workers' Compensation Board, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the American Association of Electro Diagnostic Medicine.
In the coming years, Dr. Krishna intends to continue growing his practice while actively researching and publishing studies related to his fields of interest in the hopes of promoting further medical advancement, and study.
