Dr. Roger Alan De Noyelles, D.Min., MSW, LCSW-R, BCC, Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Psychotherapy

    BINGHAMTON, NY, February 28, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Roger Alan De Noyelles, D.Min., MSW, LCSW-R, BCC, Wing Director of Psychological Health for the 107th Air National Guard and an employee of Optimization Consulting, Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence as a director and in psychotherapy.

Dr. De Noyelles was born and raised in Detroit, MI. He graduated from Mackenzie High School, Detriot, MI in June 1962. He then enlisted in the US Navy and, from 1962 to 1966, served as a hospital corpsman third class, pharmacy technician, and field medical corpsman for the US Navy and US Marine Corps, before receiving a honorable discharge.

The Rev. Dr. De Noyelles was ordained at Westminister Presbyterian Church in Detroit, MI. He was an intern assistant pastor at Glen Ellyn Presbyterian Church, Glen Ellyn, IL. He served three churches as assistant pastor: Grosse Pointe Woods Presbyterian Church, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI; Catonsville Presbyterian Church, Catonsville, MD and Penfield Presbyterian Church, Penfield, NY. He served as pastor of Ross Memorial Presbyterian Church, Binghamton, NY, as interim pastor of Caroline Valley Federated Church, Brooktondale, NY, and as parish associate pastor of Conklin Presbyterian Church, Conklin, NY.

Dr. De Noyelles is currently employed with Optimization Consulting, Inc. and is contracted with the 107th Air National Guard in Niagara Falls as wing director of psychological health. He serves as an administrator and psychotherapist to the 850 service men and women in this mental health program. In addition The Rev. Dr. De Noyelles has a small private counseling practice in Binghamton, NY where he practices social work psychology and pastoral counseling. Within that practice he is contracted with the Employee Assistance Program and Mental Health Corporations, as a provider to perform social work psychotherapy.

As Chaplain, The Rev. Dr. De Noyelles was an intern chaplain at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, IL, Cooke County Hospital in Chicago, IL, Harper Hospital in Detroit, MI, the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, MI, and the Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. He also served as chaplain at Binghamton General Hospital, Binghamton, NY through the Broome County Council of Churches. In addition, he served as chaplain at Good Shepherd Fairview Home, Binghamton, NY.

Dr. De Noyelles was also employed at Employee Network, Inc. and Magellan Behavioral Health as a Social Worker EAP therapist, respectively, in Vestal, NY. He also worked for Sr. Connections Psychological Services as a Licensed Clinical Social Work therapist providing psychotherapy to residents of three nursing homes in the Binghampton, NY area.

The Rev. Dr. De Noyelles thoroughly enjoys working as a Social Work Therapist, Pastoral Counselor, Pastor and Chaplain to help people overcome the obstacles in life through changes in their cognitive, behaviorial, emotional, systematic, mental, and spiritual components to become better people today.

The Rev. Dr. De Noyelles received a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling in 2008 from Drew University in Madison, NJ. In 1989, he received a Master of Social Work at Marywood University in Scranton, PA. In 1973, he earned a Master of Divinity from the McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL. In 1970, he received a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. The Rev. Dr. De Noyelles is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He is a Board Certified Chaplain and an Ordained Pastor through the Presbyterian Church USA. He is a member of the Association of Professional Chaplains and the National Association of Social Workers.
