Dr. Wilfried Johannes Schupp Celebrated by Marquis Who's Who for 35 Years of Invaluable Contributions to His Field

    HERZOGENAURACH, GERMANY, January 05, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Wilfried Johannes Schupp has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. With an impressive three and a half decades of practiced industry experience, Dr. Schupp is uniquely qualified to oversee a variety of tasks on behalf of his role as the medical head of the department of neurology with Fachklinik Herogenaurach, where he has been since 1996. He is also currently involved with a variety of organizations, including the German Association of Public Work Accident Insurance and the Bavarian Network for Rehabilitation Research. Before entering the field in a professional role, he obtained an MD from University Ulm. Upon graduating, he started as an assistant member with the Psychiatric Clinic Reichenau, where he stayed for a year. For the next two years, he was a member of Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry.

Subsequently, from 1984 until 1996, he worked with Fachklinik Enzenberg as a member, medical vice head of the department of neurology and the medical head of the department of neurology. Within this time, from 1986 until 1987, he had a special education at the Ludwig-Maximilians University Clinic in Munich.

Throughout his career, Dr. Schupp also worked with the Center for Neuromuscular Diseases, University Erlangen, the Federation of German Social Health Insurances, the Federal German Statutory Pension Insurance, and the Federal German Association for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled. A member of the Germany Society for Neurology, the German Society for Neurorehabilitation, and the German Society for Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine, he has contributed to many creative works over the years. He co-authored "Posture and Gait" in 1990, "Rehabilitation of the Disabled" in 1992, and "Rehabilitation and Care for Neurologically Disabled Patients in Germany" in 1995. More recently, he worked on "Return to Work in Neurological Diseases," which was published in 2014. Additionally, he has had the honor of being named to Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, and Who's Who in the World.
